Auxill Absorb is a media based filtration system that allows users to treat contaminated water on site to allow discharge to drain.

There are many organisations that experience contamination in process waste water, which has to be transported off site for disposal as it does not meet water authority discharge to drain consent levels, such contamination is normally as a result of oil or solvents

This transport and treatment is very expensive, particularly when carried out on a regular basis.

 

Auxill Absorb filtration system was developed as an additional service required to polish produced water after a free oil from water separation carried out by a Centrifuge.

After free oil separation there was an amount of dissolved BTEX in the discharge water phase. This was pumped through an Auxill Absorb filter which reduced the amount of dissolved BTEX form 1125 ppm to less than 3ppb.
